Guidelines for using the TPR and affiliate logos
Texas Port Recycling (TPR) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cincinnati-based The David J. Joseph Company (DJJ). Headquartered in Houston, TPR was formed in February of 2006 when DJJ purchased the business and assets of Northwest Recycling. This acquisition included a well established metals recycling facility on the Northwest side of Houston. TPR recently opened a new processing site on the Houston Ship Channel.

TPR processes over 1,000,000 pounds a month of nonferrous metals and 1-2,000 tons per month of cut scrap. The Houston Ship Channel facility includes a 40,000 ton per month mega-shredder, making TPR the home of Houston’s largest auto shredder.

TPR yards are environmentally friendly operations and fully comply with all EPA regulations. Our commitment to the environment is unparalleled in the industry. This assures suppliers that their scrap will be handled in an environmentally safe manner.
